Testimonials

Steps to add a section:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
3. Click on the arrow down next to Home page↓and select a template you want your Testimonials section to add to. 
4. Click on Add section which can be found in your left sidebar or directly in the live editor. 
5. Click and hold the drag-and-drop handles ⋮⋮ to re-order your sections.
6. Scroll down, or search for Testimonials, then click on Testimonials. 

Congrats! 👏 You just added your Testimonials section.

Steps to change the layout and speed:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
3. Click Testimonials section.
4. You will now see customization options for Layout. You can select Grid or Slideshow. Grid will statically display the testimonials side by side.
5. If Slideshow was chosen in Step 4, you can either have Dots or Arrows as your slider controls. Click on the option you like the most.
6. Checkmark the Auto-rotate slides box if you want to enable autorotation.
7. If Auto-rotate slides is on, select the Change sliders every choose number to determine how often will testimonials change. You can select anything between 3 and 9 seconds.
8. Click Save.

Steps to change text and color of your section:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
3. Click Testimonials section.
4. You will now see customization options for Slideshow descriptions. Describe the slideshow for customers using screen readers.
5. Change a Color scheme by clicking Change and selecting a different option. To add more options to the list, refer to the Colors ↗ guide.
6. Click Left, Center, or Right in Text alignment section to determine the alignment of the text.
7. (Optional) You can change both top and bottom section padding (the empty space above and below the section) and set it anywhere from 0px to 100px.

9. Click Save.

Steps to Change the content and button:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
3. Find Testimonials section. Click + Add Testimonial, or click. on the existing one.
4. To customize the content of your testimonial, modify Image, Heading, Description, Subheading fields. Leave the field blank to hide.
5. To change the size of the heading, choose of the options for Heading size. To change the size of your subheading, modify Subheading size.
6. You can add a button by inputting the button code into the Button label field. Insert a URL or select one of the options for the Button link field. Style your button by choosing one of the Button style options.
7. Click Save.
