Contact form

A contact form is a simple way for your website visitors to contact you. With a form, you can gather contact information, kickstart lead generation for potential customers, or connect with your audience. A visitor fills out your form, and then you get a message straight to your email address.

Add and edit a contact form section

Steps to add a contact form section:

In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
Click on the arrow down next to Home page↓and select a template you want your Contact form section to add to.
Click on Add section which can be found in your left sidebar or directly in the live editor.
Click and hold the drag-and-drop handles ⋮⋮ to re-order your sections.
Scroll down, or search for Testimonials, then click on Contact form.
Now, you can start editing your section. First, you can add a title for your section by entering text in the Heading field. Leave the field empty to hide the heading.
Choose a Heading size. By default, Medium is on. Two other available options are Small and Large.
Pick a Heading alignment. By default, Center option is on. Two other available options are Left and Right.
(Optional) You can check the Show labels field to display labels in the form inputs.
If you wish to change the colors of your sections (background, text, button color, etc.), click on the Change button for the Color Scheme. Remember that you can Edit the existing scheme or add a new one in Theme settings.

Set up contact form and content blocks

Once you have added the section, you can now configure the blocks within your section. The contact form by default has a name, email, and a message field. You can add additional fields The Contact form section has three blocks included by default: a phone, text field, and a dropdown.

Steps to add and edit content blocks:

In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
Open the template that contains the Contact Form section you wish to edit. Click + Add Block and select one of the options. Our theme provides three blocks you can add: phone, text field, and dropdown. To customize these blocks, click on them and you will see customization options. Refer to the instructions below.
Click and hold the drag-and-drop handles ⋮⋮ to re-order your blocks.
For Phone, you have control over the field Name. Insert the name that will be displayed for this form field.
For Custom Field, specify the Name and make the field required, if needed.
For Dropdown, specify the Name. Also, use the Value field to outline the values and divide them with a comma.

For example, if you want your dropdown options to be "Customer Support", "Report an Issue", "Ask about Products", this is what you put in the Value field: Customer Support, Report an Issue, Ask about Products.
