Blog posts

Steps:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Choose the theme you want to edit and click on the Customize button.
3. Click on the arrow down next to Home page↓and select a template you want your Blog posts section to add to. 
4. Click on + Add section which can be found in your left sidebar or directly in the live editor. 
5. Click and hold the drag-and-drop handles ⋮⋮  to re-order your sections.
6. Scroll down, or search for Blog posts, then click on Blog posts. 

Congrats! 👏 You just added your Blog posts section.

Steps:

You've added the section (see the instructions above) and now you can customize it.

1. If you want to display a heading above the section, type the text in the Heading field. Choose the Heading size and Heading alignment.
2. (Optional) You can upload a Background image for the whole section. Click Select image or Explore free images if you want to choose an image from Shopify's library. You can always click Change > Remove image to go back to the version without a background image.
3. (Optional) Check Enable "View all" button if blog includes more blog posts than shown box if desired. Choose a Button style.
4. In the Blog section, click Select blog to choose which articles will be shown in the section.
5. In the Color scheme section, select your Color scheme (it controls the background color of your section, the text color, etc.). Click Change to pick a different color scheme. Remember that you can Edit the existing scheme or add a new one ↗ in Theme settings.

Steps:

You've added the section (see the instructions above) and now you can customize the layout of the blog posts.

1. You can select the number of blog posts to show by moving the toggle or inserting the number in the box on the right. The maximum number of posts to show is 1. The maximum amount is 4.
2. (Optional) Under Alt column layout section check the Padding box if you want to add additional padding to some of the posts and make them have different heights.
3. (Optional) Please check the Content floating box if you wish to display the blog post content on the image. When content floating is enabled, you can also Enable the gradient. This will add a gradient to the blog post, making the text more readable.

4. Check Show featured image box if you wish to displays the featured image for the blog post.

   The image is visible only if Number of blog posts to show is set to 1.

Click Select image or Explore free images if you want to choose an image from Shopify's library. You can always click Change > Remove image to go back to the version without a featured image.

1. If you wish to show the date, author, or excerpt, please check the appropriate box.
2. Choose a layout for mobile in Mobile layout section. The available options are Grid and Free scroll.
