Cart drawer customization
IIn order to proceed with this customization, you need to set your cart to drawer in Theme settings. Click here to see how to set your cart to drawer. Then, you can enable the free shipping calculator, show recommended products, and more.
Steps to customize your cart drawer:
- Navigate to Themes > Customize.
- Scroll down and click Cart drawer under Footer.
- If you wish to show free shipping calculator, checkmark Show free shipping calculator box.
- You have the option to display vendor information in your cart drawer. Below is an example where the vendor information is highlighted in red. Check the Show vendor box to show the vendors of your products.
- If you wish to display dynamic checkout options, checkmark Show dynamic checkout. Customers will be able to skip the cart and complete their payment with the checkout method displayed on the button. Manage payments in your store here.

Enable product recommendations
When product recommendations are enabled, the customers will see similar to You May Also Like sections under the cart items. Recommendations are based on last item added in the cart. Learn more ↗ about customizing product recommendations.
Steps to enable product recommendations:
- Navigate to Themes > Customize.
- Scroll down and click Cart drawer under Footer.
- Under Recommended Products section, checkmark Enable recommended products box.
- (Optional) You have the ability to modify the section header by entering a new phrase in the Heading field.
- (Optional) Specify a custom maximum product quantity to display in Maximum products to show. The range is from 2 to 10.
- Click Save.
Set a cart note
You can display a note in your shopping cart. The default note message is "Order special instructions".
Steps to enable a cart note:
- Navigate to Themes > Customize.
- Scroll down and click Cart drawer under Footer.
- Under Cart Drawer section, checkmark Show cart note box.
- (Optional) If you wish to change the note, go to Online Store > Themes ↗. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click ... > Edit default theme content. In the Filter items search box, type
Order special instructionsto show the order notes translation. Enter a new order notes label. - Click Save.
