Footer
The Footer appears at the bottom of every page. It's a great place for quick-access links, contact details, and other store information.
In the Footer section settings, choose to enable the Email signup, Language selector, Country/region selector, payment icons, and Social media icons.

Managing footer blocks
Add four different types of Content blocks and re-arrange them in your Footer:
- Heading
- Image
- Quick links
Steps to add/edit Heading and Image blocks:
In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click the arrow beside the Footer section to reveal the Footer blocks.
Click on the Heading to open the settings.
Click (+) Add block to add a new Heading.
- (Optional) Add a brief title to the Heading field.
- Add a short paragraph to the Subtext field.
If you wish to change the colors for the heading and the subtext, select a Color scheme and click edit to change the colors.
- Insert text in the Button label field if you wish to display the button below your Subtext. Use the Button link field to add a link. Choose one of our Button style options.
- Click on Image to open the setting or click (+) Add block to add a new Image.
- Click Select image to upload an image or choose an existing image from the library.
- Set the Image width anywhere from 50px to 300px.

to rearrange the blocks:Click Remove block or the eye icon to delete or hide a block.
- Click Save.
Steps to add Quick links block:
In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click the arrow beside the Footer section to reveal the content blocks.
- If you wish to display Quick links in your footer, click one of the Menu blocks to edit the content or use the (+) Add block button.
Click Change to select a different menu to display.

- Change the Heading to title your links. By default, the heading is set to "Quick links".

Email signup
Display a sign up form in your Footer with custom text and email field.
Subscribers are added to your "accepts marketing" Customers ↗ list. See Shopify's Marketing guide ↗ and learn about Subscriber lists ↗ and using Shopify Email ↗.
Steps to display a sign up form:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- If you wish to show the Email Signup form, check Show email signup.
- (Optional) By default, the email signup form is the last block in the footer. You have the ability to display it first by checking the Show email signup first.
- Enter a Heading for your signup list.
- Insert the text in the Text field.

- Click Save.
Social media icons
Enable Social media icons to display a row of your social accounts so the customers can follow you and stay on top of the latest promotions and products.
To link your social accounts, go to Theme settings > Social media. Read an article about linking social accounts here ↗.
Steps to enable social media icons:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- Under Social media icons section, checkmark Show social media icons.
- (Optional) You can also customize the Heading for your social media icons. Leave this field blank if you don't want to show a header.
- Click Save.
Country/region selector
Enable the Country selector to let customers to view your products with their preferred currency. The selector displays countries with their currencies supported in your Shopify Market settings ↗.
To add a country/region, go to your payment settings ↗.

Steps to enable country/region selector:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- Under Country/region selector section, checkmark Enable country/region selector.
- Click Save.
Language selector
Elevated supports selling in multiple languages. After you have added and published languages ↗ to your store, enable the Language selector to let customers select their preferred language.
Our theme comes with theme translations for default theme text in 3 languages: French, English, and Spanish.
Steps to enable language selector:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- Under Language selector section, checkmark Enable language selector.
- Click Save.
Footer banner and background color
In the steps below, we will outline how to upload a footer banner and change the footer background color.
Here is an example of the footer banner:
Steps to add a footer banner and change a background color:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- Under Footer banner section, click Select image. Choose an image and click Done. Recommended dimensions are 1440x180 pixels.
- To change the background color, under Color scheme section, click Change. Choose one of the options.
- Click Save.
Payment methods
Enable Payment icons to display a row of supported payment methods. To add a payment method, go to your payments settings ↗.
Steps to enable payment icons:
- In your theme editor > Customize:
- Click on Footer section to reveal the customization options.
- Under Language selector section, checkmark Show payment icons.
- Click Save.
