Collection list

Steps to open up the search template:

1. In your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Find Elevated and click on the Customize button.
3. Click on the arrow down next to Home page↓and select Collection list.
4. Click on Collection list page which is a section specific to the Collection page. You will now see customization options for this section that we will cover later in this article.

Collection list page customization controls:

1. Heading - The title of the page. You can also connect it to a dynamic source.
2. Sort collections by - Determines in what order to display your collections:
• Alphabetically, A-Z - Displays the collections in alphabetical order.
• Alphabetically, Z-A - Displays the collections in reverse alphabetical order.
• Date, new to old - Displays the collections from the newest to the oldest, based on when each collection was created in your store.
• Date, old to new - Displays the collections from the oldest to the newest, based on when each collection was created in your store.
• Product count, high to low - Displays the collections based on how many products they contain, from highest to lowest.
• Product count, low to high - Displays the collections based on how many products they contain, from lowest to highest.
3. Image ratio - The image ratio for the collection images:
• Adapt to image (default) - Uses the aspect ratio of the images. This prevents the images from being cropped.
• Portrait - Crops the images to use a 2:3 ratio.
• Square - Crops the images to use a 1:1 ratio.
4. Number of columns on desktop - Number of columns to display on desktop computers. Minimum: 2. Maximum: 4.
5. Content floating - If checked, this option makes the text float on top of the image.
6. Show product count - If checked, the number of products within each collection will be displayed in the title.
