Search can be found in the Theme settings ↗ section. Theme settings control the colors, typography and other common elements of your online store.

Search: overview
Online Store includes predictive search, which shows suggestions when customers start typing into the search field. Search suggestions can help customers articulate and refine their search queries, and provide new ways for them to explore an online store. They can also let customers quickly browse matches without having to leave their current page to see a separate list of search results.

STEPS
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes ↗.
- Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
- Click Theme settings (1).
- Click Search (2).
- Choose your search display between drawer and modal.
- Enable predictive search - Activate or deactivate search suggestions.
- Show vendor - Display or hide product vendors in search suggestions.
- Show price - Display or hide product prices in search suggestions.
- Click Save (3).
Change search default options
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
- Click Theme settings > Search.
- Check Enable search defaults box.
- Specify the heading, fill out the popular search box, and add a link to the search default.
- Click Save.
